“People won’t give descriptions because they’re afraid they’ll be called racist” – Mixed reaction to teenage thugs in Balbriggan beating up adult woman and threaten to beat up her kids who set up a lemonade stand

Social media users are saying that they’re getting completely sick and tired of not seeing precise descriptions by victims of thugs who attack them.

Locals said in relation to the latest disgusting attack in Balbriggan, that the teenagers were in fact black teenagers but that both the victims and indeed the vast majority of media are afraid to report it accurately for fear of being denounced as a racist.

One such attack that was correctly reported was that of two Irish boys being physically attacked in Laytown, Co Meath by two tall young black teenagers who demanded they hand over their phones.

A fist fight ensued and thankfully the young boys managed to get away from the thugs with their phones safe.

Balbriggan however, seems to have a far worse problem than is being highlighted in the media or by gardai.

Two absolute thugs who had nothing better to do have caused havoc in the town of Balbriggan, Co Dublin.

Balbriggan has been plagued with problems over the last number of years with teenage thugs running amok across the town and into the town of Drogheda, County Louth.

Locals say that cars have been vandalised consistently and that young people on their own have been attacked by so-called “gangs” of teenage thugs.

During the Fleadh in Drogheda, a number of Balbriggan gang thugs went into the town to cause absolute carnage where they could, in particular at the ramparts in Drogheda where a number of local boys were beaten up.

Just two weeks ago, two gang thugs attacked two young Irish boys in the town demanding that they hand over their phone, thankfully the youngsters got away after a fist fight.

In the latest incident, a woman aged in her 40s saw her kids attacked at their lemonade stand outside her house.

The thugs threatened to punch the kids if they didn’t hand over their money. They then threw a plate that the kids had out onto the street where it broke.

The children’s mother confronted the thugs who allegedly picked up the broken plate and hit the woman with the broken pieces and punched her hard in the face.

It’s understood that the gardai are aware of the latest incident, but many in the area feel that they are doing practically nothing to stop these thugs from doing what they like.
