Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson initially was reported as having slammed “snowflake” culture in an interview with the UK’s Daily Star.
The legendary former wrestler and actor was reported to have said that while it is a good thing that anybody can “be who they want to be”, “that many young people now think being offended by something is a justifiable reason to silence others.”
But the People’s Champion has come out hard on Instagram denying that the interview ever took place and that if he had a problem with any person or gorup that he would engage with them and try and resolve it.
So the jury is out but it appears as though it was just a rumour that got out of control and one which the Rock himself was forced to take to social media to deny.
