Police in the North have sadly confirmed that a person has died after being struck by a train this evening.
It is understood that the person died after being struck by a train in Dunmurry.
In a statement released on Twitter, Translink confirmed that the incident has resulted in the tracks between Portadown and Bangor being closed.
