Peter Casey may appear to have come second place in the Presidential election, but he is the person that everyone is talking about today.
It looks like Peter will finish in the early 20s while Higgins will be in the 50s – that’s some result for the free speech activist who had the government, establishment and most of the media firmly against him.
The demographic that appears to have won it for Higgins is young women in their 20s but nothing is officially released yet.
Peter has said that he will run for the Presidency again, if he’s not already the Taoiseach by that time! He intends to take some time out now and review what’s best for him and his family going forward.
