Pfizer have confirmed that staff and their families at their Irish sites are to be offered the Covid-19 vaccine.
In an announcement the pharmaceutical company announced that the vaccine will be offered to their 4,000 staff members and their immediate family members.
Pfizer say the roll-out of the vaccine to staff and their families will begin in May and it will start with those aged 60 and over.
The company say the vaccination of staff will not affect the national roll-out as vaccines used will be from a different supply line to that of the national supply.
