The UK Daily Mail has revealed photos taken of an intimate dinner between Hillary Clinton and disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein in December of 2016, just weeks after she lost the U.S Presidential election to Donald Trump.
The Daily Mail UK obtained photos of the Former Secretary of State with her husband, former President Bill Clinton wining and dining with Weinstein, his wife and a lawyer.
Weinstein, who has been accused of rape and sexual assault by numerous women, was an outspoken supporter and financial backer of the Clinton’s and a major Hollywood voice decrying Donald Trump.
Weinstein even donated $10,000 to Bill Clinton’s legal fund when he faced impeachment for lying about his illicit sexual liaisons with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Hillary Clinton has long marketed herself as an advocate for women and girls but being so close with Harvey Weinstein for so long has tainted this image.
Many Hollywood insiders and victims of Weinstein have alleged that it was common knowledge that he was a sexual predator, including actress and sexual assault awareness activist Rose McGowan who said “Everybody knew. I know that. I was there,” the UK Independent reported in January.
