A 17-year-old teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old male in Waterford overnight.

The incident happened at Shanakiel, Dunmore East, Waterford, in the early hours of this morning.
The victim was found with a single stab wound to his body. He was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
A 17-year-old was subsequently arrested.
