After a live mouse was discovered in a passenger’s lunch, a Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flight was forced to make an emergency landing on Wednesday, reports Breaking News.
The plane took off from Oslo, the capital of Norway, headed for Malaga in Spain, but it ended up diverting to Copenhagen, Denmark.
According to BBC News, passengers on the flight were subsequently transported to Malaga on an other aircraft.
“This is a very uncommon occurrence,” airline representative Oystein Schmidt said the AFP news agency, reports Breaking News.
“We have established procedures for such situations, which also include a review with our suppliers to ensure this does not happen again.”
According to passenger Jarle Borrestad, the mouse got out of the food box after the woman seated next to him on the aircraft opened it, reports Breaking News.
