Britain’s Keir Starmer says he will no longer accept donations for clothes

The prime minister of the United Kingdom and the majority of his ministers will no longer take contributions to cover their clothing costs, reports Breaking News.

According to the PA news agency, Chancellor Rachel Reeves, UK deputy prime minister Angela Rayner, and Sir Keir Starmer would not take such gifts going forward, reports Breaking News.

The action is being taken by Labour in an attempt to end a controversy over Sir Keir and his spouse Lady Victoria Starmer’s acceptance of presents, including apparel, from well-known Labour contributor and lord Lord Alli.

Since December 2019, Sir Keir has received about £39,000 from Lord Alli, reports Breaking News.
