Authorities in France have sadly confirmed that a fifth victim has died following a gun attack at Christmas Market in city of Strasbourg.
In an announcement made on Sunday, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that Barto Pedro Orent-Niedzielski, a 36-year-old Polish-born man passed away in hospital due to the extent of his injuries he sustained in the gun attack.
The news comes afer four others were killed in the horrific attack which occurred last Tuesday.
Meanwhile the suspect, Cherif Chekatt, was shot dead by police on Thursday.
