Police in UK urge 16-yr-old murder suspect George David to hand himself into custody

Police in the UK have urged a 16-yr-old murder suspect to turn himself in and warned people not to approach him.

George David is suspected in the murder of Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov, who was stabbed to death on November 4 in south-east London.

The public has been warned to call 999 immediately if they see him.

The teen may be protected by others, Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen said.

“George, my message directly to you is that you must attend a police station immediately. We believe it’s possible George is being hidden or moved around by people he knows. My message to those people is that if you are working to frustrate our inquiries you should be very much aware of the trouble you could find yourself in. We will seek to arrest and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” warned DCI Kelly, reported Sky.

The suspect has links to Bromley and Orpington, the Metropolitan Police added.

A 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were already arrested this week on murder charges and remain in custody.

Mr Stoyanov, 21, was stabbed to death on Bromley Road in Downham just before midnight last Friday. He was taken to hospital by ambulance but died the following afternoon.
