Police in Germany have reportedly found a hidden cellar at the former home of the lead suspect in the Madeleine McCann disappearance case.
According to Sky News, police excavating site just outside Hanover, found the cellar after digging a 15 metre hole on the grounds were a secluded chalet is located.
The discovery comes after police have been carrying out a search in the area for the past three days.
Sky News reports that police are working under the theory that Madeleine may have been taken to Germany after she disappeared in Praia da Luz in May 2007.
