Police in the UK have launched an investigation after a man was set on fire outside his home.
According to Sky News, the investigation comes after the man was doused in a flammable liquid believed to be petrol before he was set on fire in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire.
The incident which is believed to have been a targeted attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
Officers investigating the case say the man aged in his 40s is currently in critical but stable condition in hospital following the attack.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
