Police in the UK have launched an investigation following the death of a one-year-old girl in Wigan.
The investigation comes after the little girl sadly died on Friday, after being taken to hospital with serious head injuries following an incident at a house on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, a 32-year-old man has been arrested in suspicion of murder following the incident which occurred Fleming Court in the Shevington area of Wigan.
Meanwhile Greater Manchester police say that they are currently reviewing the case in order to determine the infant’s exact cause of death.
