Police in the UK were left dealing with an unusual incident as climate change protesters ramped up their efforts outside London’s stock exchange on Thursday.
According to reports in the UK, police were left freeing a woman after she apparently super glued her breasts to the road outside the Goldman Sachs office.
In yet another day of protests to hit Britain’s streets, the woman was seen lying on the ground with her shirt up around her neck and her chest lying on the road.
Responding to the incident police were forced to put up screening boards to shield the woman from onlookers as they attempted to remove her from the scene.
The latest demonstration which has been described as most likely a publicity stunt, comes as Extinction Rebellion ramped up their demonstrations in an effort to bring about changes in regards to ecological destruction.
XR say the latest protest in the city’s financial district was held as financial companies are responsible for allowing ecological and climate change.
Police across the UK have reportedly arrested 1,130 people for causing a public disturbance since protests began 10 days ago.
