Police officer facing the sack after placing 7p barcode on a box of Krispy Kreme donuts

A police officer in the UK could be facing the sack after he allegedly put a 7p barcode on a box of Krispy Kreme donuts.

According to Sky News, the Officer involved from the Cambridgeshire Police force is facing disciplinary charges following the alleged incident which occurred at a Tesco Store last February.

It is alleged that the man put a 7p carrott barcode over the £9.99 barcode price of the box before running them through the self service checkout in the store.

Sky News reports that the Officer involved is facing professional standards breaches and could therefore be dismissed from his duties as a result.
