Police have concluded their search for two sisters who vanished earlier this month in Aberdeen’s River Dee, reports Breaking News.

The last known location of Eliza and Henrietta Huszti was Market Street near Victoria Bridge on January 7th at 2:12 a.m.

Officers have been searching for the duo for almost three weeks after they vanished, despite a massive search and rescue effort, reports Breaking News.

According to sources, Police Scotland declared on Monday that the “extensive and detailed searches” of the harbour and river were over.

However, the force stated that further extensive searches, particularly those of the coastal regions north and south of Aberdeen, are being conducted in an effort to locate the sisters, reports Breaking News.

Officers had stated that the day before their disappearance, the two women had gone to the bridge where they were last seen.

On January 6th, at around 2:50 p.m., they were spotted near Victoria Bridge, reports Breaking News.

The sisters, who are part of a triplet group, were seen on CCTV spending five minutes at Victoria Bridge and the walkway without interacting with anybody else.

Additionally, it was discovered that around 2:12 am on January 7th, Henrietta’s cell phone sent a text message to the sisters’ landlord from the vicinity of Victoria Bridge, letting her know they would not be going back to the apartment.

According to the police, the phone was subsequently cut off from the network and hasn’t been used since, reports Breaking News.
