
Police in the North investigating the circumstances that caused a large scale fire in Newtownabbey on Saturday evening, say the fire may have been started deliberately.
The investigation comes after six homes were badly damaged after an oil tank caught fire oil tank caught fire at house on the Ballyfore Road.
Although thankfully no one was seriously injured in the blaze, police say they believe the attack may have been an deliberate act.
It is understood that five units from Glengormely and Belfast fire service were sent to tackle the blaze.
Officers investigating the incident say they are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between the hours of 5-6pm to come forward and contact them.
