The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has released a recall alert for the 1kg packs of Dunnes Stores organic porridge oats, citing the “possible presence of clear plastic pellets”, reports RTE.
The affected items are marked with production times from “06:00 and 12:00; best before 11/10/2026”, according to the FSAI, reports RTE.
“The above batch of Dunnes Stores Organic Porridge Oats is being recalled due to the possible presence of clear plastic pellets. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale,” the notice stated, reports RTE.
The FSAI indicated that stores are required to pull the specified batch from shelves and post a recall alert at the point of sale.
Shoppers are urged to avoid consuming the affected batch.
