Potential cold winter ahead as unelected EU elite demands cut in natural gas consumption by 15% as sanctions on Russia backfire catastrophically

The EU’s ruling elite are set to demand the bloc’s vassal states cut their natural gas consumption by 15% over the next eight months and warned national leaders that if their peoples do not submit to their demands there are:

“Measures to include mandatory trigger if voluntary curbs are insufficient”.

These measures are designed to disarm the alleged Russian weaponization of its energy exports which European states, Germany in particular, have allowed themselves to become so dependent on in recent years.

It appears the Orwellian, unelected bureaucrats of the EU Commission have now redefined the term “voluntary” as they redefined the concept of democracy when they forced Ireland to vote again after we rejected their Nice and Lisbon treaties.

This is almost as tragically laughable as the time they redefined the expression “bailout” when they forced Ireland to socialise the gambling losses of banking institutions and bondholders saddling us with 43% of the EU’s debt.

As ludicrous as this demand from the EU is, it is tragic and could see Irish people and the peoples of Europe in serious situations.

A cold winter of discontent looms.
