One lucky punter has been given an early Christmas present after they managed to scoop the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s Euromillions Plus draw.
The lucky win comes comes as there were yet again no winners of the main jackpot worth €77m.
The numbers drawn in the plus draw were 11, 16, 18, 28 and 35.
Meanwhile the numbers drawn in the main draw were 4, 7, 13, 23, 42 with the lucky stars being 1 and 3.
The National Lottery say the winning plus ticket was purchased in Co Laois.
