President Trump predicts the end of American democracy if he loses in November

According to Donald Trump, American democracy will most certainly come to an end if he does not win the presidential election in November, reports RTE.

After restating his ludicrous accusation that election fraud caused him to lose the 2020 presidential contest to Democratic President Joe Biden, the Republican contender for president made the statement to supporters in Ohio.

In an address outside, Mr. Trump declared that US democracy will perish if he does not win the general election on November 5.

“If we don’t win this election, I don’t think you’re going to have another election in this country,” Mr Trump said, reports RTE.

Attempting to sway the outcome of Georgia’s 2020 election, Mr. Trump is charged with a crime there. This week, he secured enough delegates to mathematically secure the Republican candidature.

A rematch with Mr. Biden in the general election is probably going to be very close, reports RTE.

In his opening speech in Dayton, Mr. Trump paid respect to his followers who are incarcerated for their actions on January 6, 2021, when they attempted to obstruct the certification of Mr. Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

With a salute, Mr. Trump referred to them as “hostages” and “patriots”, reports RTE.
