President Trump has ordered the deployment of a National Guard detail along the Mexican border to enhance security ahead of the arrival of an ‘immigrant caravan’.
The move comes after it emerged that thousands of immigrants, mostly from Honduras, were making their way to the US border.
The states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas -all of which border with Mexico- have welcomed the news about troops deploying along the border.
