President Trump vindicated as media forced to backtrack on hydroxychloroquine effectiveness

US President Donald Trump has been vindicated again as media outlets rush to backtrack on their dismissal of hydroxychloroquine as an effective drug battle against Covid-19.

President Trump received near universal ridicule from media outlets in the US, Ireland and the world over after he touted the possible effectiveness of the anti-malaria drug in helping patients suffering from the Chinese virus.

The rabid hatred and bile being directed at President Trump than reached fever pitch when he revealed that he himself was taking the well-established medication for a two-week period.

Some even accused the President of endangering people’s lives by encouraging the use of the medication however, commentators online were quick to point out that if the media and political establishment had believed hydroxychloroquine to be as dangerous as they’d claimed they would be overjoyed he was taking it.

Now however, the media, including CNN, are having to backtrack after a team at Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan said Thursday its study of 2,541 hospitalized patients found that those given hydroxychloroquine were much less likely to die.

This confirms reports from other doctors around the world about the effectiveness of the anti-malaria drug in the treatment of patients infected with Covid-19.
