Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the current global changes now happening are “fundamental and irreversible”.

President Putin has framed Russia’s military operation in Ukraine as part of an effort to reshape the global world order and create a more multi-polar system of global governance.

“It is a mistake to suggest that the times of turbulent changes can be waited out and that things will return to normal; that everything will be as it was. It won’t,” President Putin stated during his speech at the the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday.

The President went on to insist that the changes that the world is going through at the moment are fundamental, radical, and irreversible but the changes that the world is going through at the moment are fundamental, radical, and irreversible.

The ruling elites of some Western countries refuse to notice this obvious shift and choose to “cling to the shadows of the past” Putin went on to say.

“For example, they believe that the dominance of the West in global politics and economy is a constant, eternal value,”

But “nothing is eternal,” Russia’s wartime President reminded those in attendance.
