Prison authorities have launched an investigation after an inmate at Cloverhill Prison was found dead inside his cell.
It is understood that the deceased, a man in his 30s, had been involved in an altercation with another inmate shortly before he was found in an unresponsive state.
Paramedics were called, but could only certify the man’s death.
