Pro Life groups around the world rejoice in Argentinian Senate voting against legalising abortion

To the delight of Pro Life groups around the world, the Argentinian Senate has voted to keep abortion illegal in the country.

Social media is awash with abortion debate again after Argentina voted to defend unborn children in the womb and keep their ardent Pro Life stance.

Some Argentinian and American pro life groups who work together are said to now be contemplating ways to make America more pro life, even though the Trump Administration has already vowed to ensure that they will do what they can to help the pro life movement in the States.

Abortion is set to remain illegal in Argentina after the country’s upper house scuppered attempts to legalise the termination on demand of the unborn up to 14 weeks gestation, RTE reported.

The bill to bring abortion to the Latin American country passed the House of Representatives but was rejected by a majority of the Senate meaning that the unborn will still enjoy the right to life in Argentina.

The Pro-Abortion Feminist movement NiUnaMenos (“Not one woman less”) in the country has blamed the Catholic Church for the defeat of the bill and Argentinian branch of Amnesty International decried the Senate’s move to protect the life of the unborn as “an unforgivable step backwards” the, UK’s Guardian reports.
