Recently retired doctor Anne McCloskey MD has been elected as a councillor in Derry following the local elections in the north of Ireland.

The pro-life, republican party was founded by TD Peadar Tóibín following his split with Sinn Fein owing to the decision of the party’s pro-abortion leader, Mary Lou MacDonald, to chastise members for their pro-life stance.
