Carlow/Kilkenny TD Bobby Aylward is said to have received tremendous support from Pro Life Fianna Fail supporters at every level of the party.
Aylward is currently holding a meeting in Leinster House tonight to discuss a counter-punch to Micheal Martin’s incredulous U-Turn on the life issue.
Over 80% of the party voted to overwhelmingly keep the Eighth Amendment in the Constitution – the amendment that states an unborn baby has the equal right to life as its mother.
