Gardai have launched an investigation after an ambulance carrying a child collided with another vehicle near Drogheda, Co. Louth, earlier today.
The child and two paramedics were all taken to hospital along with the driver of the car, though none of the injuries are thought to be serious.
It is understood that the accident happened close to Townley Hall Woods, just west of Drogheda, as the ambulance was en route to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
