Pro-life movie ‘Unplanned’ which is based on the true story of former Planned Parenthood clinic director, Abby Johnson, who became an advocate for the rights of the unborn child after watching a baby be aborted via ultrasound, has enjoyed significant success at Irish cinemas.

This success comes as a surprise to many after pro-abortion activists attempted to threatened and intimidate theatres into pulling their screenings of the movie.

Several major media organisations in Ireland also set their sights on the true to life movie claiming that Johnson distorts the reality of abortion procedures. This despite that fact that Ms Johnson was a director of an abortion providing clinic and has been supported in her assertions by other whistle-blowers and medical experts.

Pro-abortion protests did take place outside one cinema in Galway, but they failed to stop a screening of the movie at the theatre or in any of the over 40 theatres screening the movie across the country.

Abby Johnson has encouraged everyone in Ireland to see this film, and, challenged those who are pro-abortion to view the film if they are so confident in their stance on the issue.

The film is rated 16s for general release.
