
PSNI say that the four people with gunshot wounds in Fermanagh were all part of the same household and that they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident, which locals are describing as a domestic tragedy.
In Co Fermanagh, a shooting claimed the lives of a boy, a girl, and a woman in her 40s, police confirmed. A man from the same household is in serious condition in hospital. Superintendent Robert McGowan reported that all four victims sustained gunshot wounds on Wednesday morning.
Locals say that it was a domestic incident, but PSNI are not confirming this.
The PSNI has launched a murder investigation to establish the circumstances. Emergency services responded to a call at approximately 8:20am in the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge, where they found four individuals with gunshot injuries inside a home.
The woman and one child were pronounced dead at the scene. The man was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, and the other child was taken to the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen where sadly he died a short time later.
The man remains in hospital today with serious gunshot-related injuries.
