Police in Northern Ireland have seized 57 puppies, three adult dogs and a cat from property in the Port of Belfast following an ongoing investigation.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of various crimes, including fraud by providing false information and possession of items to be used in fraud cases.
A large sum of money was also seized.
It’s understood that the puppies are believed to have been moved from the Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland and then were due to be sent to England and Scotland.
