A massive public uprising is underway in Venezuela, in what many consider to be the initial stages of a coup against Nicolas Maduro’s regime.
Oil-rich Venezuela has long been suffering economically due to chronic mismanagement and squandering of assets. Opposition leader Juan Guaido is said to be leading the move against Maduro, whom many see as nothing more than a dictator with little regard to Venezuela’s people.
It is understood that at least 52 people have been injured in clashes between citizens and Government-backed troops.
