Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a man sustained life-threatening injuries following a vicious assault last Friday.
It is believed the man aged in his 40s was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment after he was assaulted on Prices Lane at approximately 10.25pm last Friday 26 April.
Gardaí say the attacker behind the vicious assault proceed to Aston Quay near the Bedford Row junction, and then removed his clothing before lying in the middle of the street.
Officers investigating the incident say they believe a number of passers-by may have witnessed the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact them.
