Many people aren’t happy that they won’t be able to go to their favourite pub for a few Christmas drinks over the festive season, but alas that’s not going to happen this year and not in the near future by all accounts either.
Wet pub publicans appear to be given the cold shoulder yet again from the government after they were told that they can do a so-called “takeaway service” only, something that’s practically impossibly to 90% plus of such public houses.
Publicans are said to be up in arms, outraged and extremely angry over the decision to ensure that there is no way that their premise will be allowed to reopen this side of 2021.
Publicans have called the government hypocritical over their decision process and said that they did everything they could but help publicans in their plight during this time.
