An 18-year-old girl in Brazil has been charged with murder after police allege that she suffocated her five-year-old brother before decapitating his corpse and eating his genitals.
The mutilated body of Maycon Roque’s was found by his mother on Thursday night after a relative broke into the family house in Sao Roque, the south-east of the country. The partially dismembered and cannibalised corpse was lying on a drawn pentagram surrounded with candles.
Police arrested the boys sister Karina Roque has admitted to torturing and murdering her brother and attempting to kill her uncle who kicked down the door to allow the teen’s mother to enter the house.
Police believe the horrific murder and cannibalism was some kind of satanic ritual and believe the murderer may having been networking with Satanists online. The 18-year-old killer also attempted to destroy her phone before police could access it to discover who she was speaking to online.
Authorities believe the killer was speaking with a network of “devil worshippers” though social networking sites.
Shocked family members have expressed their disbelief saying that the 18-year-old has never been in trouble before and was known for being quiet and for taking care of her younger brother.
