In what can only be described as an incredible documentary, RTE managed to produce something that this journalist actually was interested in watching – for once!
All joking aside, ‘Showstoppers’ truly was a very interesting and worthwhile watch. It showed acting students from the Blue Diamond Drama Academy learning their lines, learning how to act and eventually graduating after a tremendous show in the Gaiety and Smock Theatre.
The main person in the documentary is aspiring actress Aimee Richardson who, along with many others, will inevitably be on the silver screen again soon.
