RTÉ have confirmed that it will air two debates during the campaign for the upcoming General Election.
In an announcement the national broadcaster confirmed that a Claire Byrne Live Leaders’ debate will take place in front of a live studio audience who will get the chance to ask questions to the country’s main political leaders.
Meanwhile a Prime Time Leaders’ debate will see Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin will go head-to-head in the final days before the public go to the polls on February 8th.
