Questions raised as to whether Irish people will stand up and protest for affordable homes for our own people and future children

For a long time now, the FFG coalition government have been looking for ways to provide large scale, permanent and free “own door” homes for programme refugees from places like Syria and Afghanistan. The Green Party Programme for Government also included permanent, free “own door” homes for existing asylum seekers who are currently housed in Direct Provision and for new asylum seekers arriving into Ireland on a daily basis.

But some politicians feared a pubic backlash if free housing for immigrants was built on land owned by the People of Ireland (what the media calls State land”) for foreigners.

The Ukrainian war and the pro Ukrainian media in Ireland has given the FFG coalition government the perfect excuse TO BUILD permanent homes for immigrants, both refugees and asylum seekers.
It’s inevitable that these new, free homes, built on land owned by the People of Ireland will be used to houses hundreds of thousands of new immigrants, not just Ukrainian refugees.

Both FFG and all the left opposition parties including Sinn Fein, Labour, PbP and the Social Democrats completely support the FFG Mass immigration plan so an election will not sort this issue out.
But People Power will.

Does the Irish Community have the courage to stand up and protest for affordable homes for our own children.

Will our Irish children be renting forever, even in their retirement or will they just leave their home country for a better life where a foreign government will look after their needs better then any Irish government would?
