Rail services disrupted in Dublin after a vehicle collides with a bridge

A number of rail services in Dublin are currently suspended or experiencing disruption, after vehicle struck a bridge between Portmarnock and Malahide.

It is understood that trains operating to Malahide and Portmarnock have been suspended for the time being, until the damage is assessed.

Irish Rail have issued a statement saying that trains will be operating to and from Clongriffin only, and that some services running northward to Dundalk and Drogheda will also be affected.
