Met Eireann have issued a rainfall warning for the west and south west of the country, as heavy rain is forecast for the next 48 hours.
The warning applies to Galway, Mayo, Cork and Kerry, and will remain in effect until midnight tonight.
Up to 35mm of rain may fall on some areas, which may lead to localised flooding. This may be exacerbated by further rainfall tomorrow.
Outside of the affected areas, the weather will remain mostly dry, with some sunny spells developing.
