The latest phase of lifting Level 5 restrictions will begin today as restaurants, cafes and bars will be allowed to open from today onwards.
In a move that will boost the hospitality sector, those serving food will be allowed to welcome customers back inside their premises from today.
However the news is not all good for those in the sector as so called wet pubs will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
That decision has led to publicans criticising the government who have said that deceptive data is keeping them from reopening.
