The Real Madrid and Spainish football legend Iker Casillas has reportedly suffered a heart attack while training with Porto.
According to Spanish news reports, Casillas is believed to be in a stable condition and ‘out of danger’ after he suffered a suspected heart attack and was taken into intensive care.
It’s understood that the 37-yr-old told his team that he was feeling unwell during the training session and was urgently taken from the field. Porto’s medical team confirmed that Casillas underwent minor surgery – a heart catheterization – and is now recovering in hospital.
This is not the first time that a footballer had a heart attack while training in recent years.
