The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued an urgent recall notice for an ice cream product commonly sold in Ireland due to the presence of pesticide.
The affected product is Milka Vanilla and Chocolate Swirl ice cream stick. A chemical analysis found ethylene oxide, a pesticide not authorized for use in the European Union.
The recall affects batch code MI1096, with a best before date of April 2023.
