Recall notice: Frozen fish product recalled due to the presence of veterinarian drug

A frozen fish product is being recalled due to the presence of a veterinarian drug.

The product in question is Jona Red Tilapia Fish, which originates in Vietnam, batch code VN/472/IV/169, with best before date of September 17, 2023.

It is understood that this product has been found to contain malachite green, a product commonly used as a dye and, in certain countries, for aquaculture purposes. This chemical is banned for food preparation due to harmful effects.
