Hyundai and Kia are recalling 92,000 cars, with owners warned to park away from buildings due to fire risks.
The models being recalled are Hyundai 2023-2024 Palisade; 2023 Tucson, Sonata, Elantra, and Kona vehicles; 2023-2024 Seltos; and 2023 Kia Soul and Sportage vehicles.
It is understood that the fire risk is due to an electrical component in a transmission oil pump, which is prone to overheating.
