Discount retailer Penneys has issued a recall notice for a number of products on its cosmetic range, as they may cause ill health effects.
The recall includes Penney’s Primer Water: Charcoal, Watermelon, and Coconut. Routine testing revealed that these products contain higher-than-permitted aerobic mesophilic bacteria, which may cause irritation or even infection if the solution comes into contact with broken skin or the eyes. People with weakened immune systems might bear a higher risk.
You can return the items to the nearest Penneys outlet for a full refund.
