Two urgent recalls have been issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland for a number of well-known food goods that are available in several Irish retailers, reports The Mirror.
A recall for goat’s cheese, several tahini sauce varieties, and two well-known crisp brands was announced by the food safety watchdog, alerting consumers to potential health risks associated with the items, reports The Mirror.
Recall warnings will be posted at the point of sale in grocery stores across the nation, advising customers not to consume the impacted batches. Everything you need to know about the FSAI recalls is provided below:
A recall was first issued for some batches of Al’Fez Natural Tahini because of potential Salmonella contamination. The Al’Fez Natural Tahini, 160g pack size, batch codes 3355, 4044, 4023, 4024, 4039, and 4040, and best before dates of 06/2025 to 08/2025 are covered by this notification.
In addition, because Salmonella may be present in any batch of Al’Fez Natural Tahini Smooth and Nutty, a recall has been issued for all of them. The recall applies to the 160g and 270g pack sizes, involving all batches and best-before dates, reports The Mirror.
