In response to an attempt on the life of the former US president, Donald Trump claimed to have revised his address intended for the Republican National Convention to emphasise bringing the nation together, reports Breaking News.
Sunday night, Mr. Trump landed in Milwaukee for the convention; the previous day, a shooter had opened fire at a Butler campaign event.
“The speech I was going to give on Thursday was going to be a humdinger. It is a chance to bring the country together. I was given that chance” he told the paper, reports Breaking News.
Mr. Trump stated to US publication The Washington Examiner in his first interview since the event that the address he would deliver on Thursday will be “a lot different than it would’ve been two days ago.”
